Spring Fever!

As a new year has come upon us quickly, we can't help but want Spring to rush in as well. So, in lieu of looking out of windows at fresh-fallen snow, we invite you to have a look at a couple of new Spring-Inspired KNITTING PATTERNS we will soon be offering on our site! Rhonda Potteet is adding pattern-designing to her repertoire! She currently has two patterns available, and you can expect more from her in the very near future! Rhonda has also created these beautifully cabled, delicate, soft, baby-friendly leggings. They are so versatile, they fit ages 6 months up to 5T! They make perfect boot toppers/cuffs for older toddlers, as well. They are made from many tiny stitches, so they are lightweight, yet keep bare legs warm. They come in a perfect shade of mint.

All about Autumn.

To us, Autumn is all about pumpkins, spicy colors, warm beverages, and cozy knits. Sue Aucoin's newest PRiMiTeDs bear encompasses everything that we believe this season has to offer.

Please meet CHai-T with his creamy, pumpkin pin cushion! 

 

This small bear (5" tall) is fully jointed and fulled/ felted from 100% wool and slightly weighted. His chai-colored fur was hand-dyed and shaded for a more unique look. He even has a hand-embroidered face. He is keeping the chill away with his cable knit, cinnamon stick-hued scarf, which was handmade from acrylic by Rhonda Potteet. His scarf is pinned on so it doesn't blow away in the Autumn breeze!  He comes with his own slightly-weighted, cream-colored pumpkin pin cushion that is 3" in diameter and has the rustic letters of "fall" stitched to it. CHai-T is pinned/posed atop his pumpkin. This bear has been made to look passed down -- A perfect addition to any primitive collection!

Cinched Knits

Thread Bears® is happy to present our new productline for wearble items, Cinched Knits! Our Cinched Knits consist of hats, scarves, headbands, collars and bibs, gloves, and all sorts of wearble items, created by our newest artist, Rhonda Potteet.  Rhonda is my daughter and has been working hard for the past two years, perfecting her techniques to offer beautiful handmade knits.  Her items consist of fine fibers, beautiful lace motifs, complicated cables, and many, many tiny stitches with a delicate drape. She creates accessories for the whole family, and home decor items as well. She hopes to create her own Thread Bears® soon!
